“We embark to a place where the sacred and the divine converge.”
Our Focus
A realm with boundaries between the physical and spiritual worlds that allows for a deeper connection with higher powers and spiritual energies. These lands are very connected with ancient wisdom and intuitive knowledge, rich with sources of mystical teachings, spiritual guidance, and insight. As you step back in time, here is where the ancient mysteries abound with each step taken.
These places are lush, beautiful landscapes that symbolize spiritual nourishment in the natural world and harmony between humans and nature, and they honor the Earth's sacredness. They are a major part of Atlantis’s aspects: our connection to the Goddess within and Earth Magic. We'll explore the mystery of King Arthur, St. Michael's ley lines, and Celtic mythology, call upon Merlin's wisdom, be guided on a journey to meet dragons, hear the secrets of the Serpent Stones, and much more.
The Itinerary
Day 1 – Tuesday July 8
Pick up at London hotel and head west to Glastonbury.
Some time to wander the town.
Settle in and get acquainted with a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Wednesday July 9
We enter Celtic lands, that of King Arthur and Sacred Avalon, home of the mysterious Glastonbury Tor.
We'll begin your day with a guided walk across Avalon, be transported back 2,000 years through the mists, to a time of magic, myths and legends.
We'll visit the Abbey, Callice Well, White Spring Well, Wattle Church, ending with a climb to the top of The Tor. You'll hear of the legends of Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalena, the Holy Thorn Tree, and the initiations brought from the Druids.
Day 3 - Thursday July 10
We leave Glastonbury and head further West to Tintagel - a village situated on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, England. The village, museum and nearby Tintagel Castle hold these legends surrounding King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Located below Tintagel Castle, the birthplace of King Arthur, is the cave believed to be where Merlin lived, the wizard prophet and fifth lineage. Here we'll experience a mystical journey to meet your dragon. Certainly a day of intrigue and mystery.
Day 4 – Friday July 11
We'll adventure to Avebury, a huge British Temple and stone monument erected around 2,000 BC in the shape of a serpent when seen from the sky. It is a complex of stone circles - inside is a circle of immense standing, and inside there are two more stone circles built during the Neolithic era. This is the area where the Stonehenge stones were taken from, so it is of a very high energetics.
Silbury Hill is very much a part of any visit to Avebury. There are some theories of what Silbury Hill was used for, but it's all a mystery really. Also some time to visit a quaint shop with many wonderful gifts to take home.
Day 5 – Saturday July 12
We'll spend some time at the open market in the morning and shop in the quaint town of Marlborough.
Then off to the crop circles museum, the world's leading exhibition offering videos and information on this phenomenon.
Then making our way west to Wales.
Day 6 – Sunday July 13
Up early to drive to Anglesey with a stop along the way in Ludlow, a medieval town and visit to an ancient castle.
Then on to Bryn Celli Ddu – an ancient burial chamber, hear about Druid ruins and Celtic mythology.
Day 7 – Monday July 14
A visit to Dinas Emrys, an idyllic walking trail that winds through beautiful oak woodland, a spectacular waterfall at the head of the valley, over rock streams, heading to the hilltop of a remains of a castle tower, with breathtaking views.
An ancient extinct volcano shrouded in legend, myth and sacred occupancy. Hear of the medieval myths and magic, for when you wander through this enchanted place you're following in the footsteps of the young Merlin to the place where the legend of the Welsh Red Dragon was born. This truly is a powerful and enchanted place.
We'll visit Betws-y Coed Fairy Glen (the mound in the dark grove), a 5,000 year old burial chamber of Anglesey with a bridge to our ancestors. To experience the magic of this place has to be seen to be believed. As you descend into the emerald green realm of the Fairy Glen Gorge, it truly feels like you're entering another dimension.
Day 8 – Tuesday July 15
We leave Anglesey and head to Llandudno, a 13th century North Wales town on the banks of the River Conwy, visiting Aber Falls on the way. A magnificent waterfall about 130 ft. tall and is said this is an ancient Eleven kingdom in this valley, and elemental and fairy energies are very present. This carries the ancient energetics of these times gone by.
We'll visit the Conwy castle and if you want to hear stories of King Arthur, Merlin, the princes of Gwynedd, dragons, fairies, and the giants who live in the mountains, this is the place to visit.
Day 9 – Wednesday July 16
Heading to Heathrow airport with a stop and lunch in Oxford
As an Added Bonus
Accompanying us is Joshua Swords, an experienced facilitator of spiritual journeys who brings incredible insights to guide and nourish our path through Wales. He will take us through these mystical lands to discover Bryn Celli Ddu, a prehistoric burial chamber over 5,000 years old, hear of some Viking connections in mythology, Druid history, walk to the summit of a legendary hill where Merlin once trod around and where a dragon still sleeps, and journey back in time to visit a medieval castle – thereby becoming entrenched in this mystical land. This is where individuals can seek solace, undergo inner healing, experience personal growth, remember timelines, and awaken to one's deeper true self.

A journey of this nature is a financial investment. Trip cancellation insurance can cover your losses on nonrefundable air and land costs on trips cancelled due to personal or family illnesses or unforeseen documented emergencies. It also covers the cost of emergency evacuation from remote areas. A more expensive “Cancel for any Reason” policy is also available.
You must buy trip insurance within 14 - 21 days of the date you send in your deposit (depending on the plan you choose) in order to receive certain benefits, including coverage for pre-existing conditions.
Call Laurie’s office for more information, or check with your personal travel agent.
This insurance only covers US citizens departing from the US. We suggest non-US citizens look for a local agent.
You may also want to check with AAA for insurance coverage.
-
There are no inoculation requirements for persons with flights originating in the US to Europe. However, it is advisable to consult your physician regarding your personal needs. Doctors and medical facilities are available to us in most places, however we recommend each participant bring their own personal supplies plus any medication needed. Your good health and good physical condition will enhance the experience for you as well as the group.

In Glastonbury during July the average daily high temperatures decrease from 80 degrees with lows about 66 F and sometimes is overcast, cloudy or rains. Loose-fitting clothing are helpful for layering in the daytime as we will be doing some considerable walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes, hiking boots or sneakers. A warmer jacket or sweater for early morning and evening.
In the evenings, you may want to have nicer attire as we will sometimes be dining in at our hotel accommodations or other restaurants. Casual is of course acceptable and this is your preference.

We highly suggest that you only bring one piece of checked luggage and carry on with you to England and perhaps make provision for an extra duffel bag or buy one for shopping for extra goodies for your return. I always leave space in my baggage. Remember to bring an extra set of clothes and your valuables in your carry-on just in case of loss of luggage. A daypack is often useful and a bit extra storage. This is an area of old towns and often cobblestone. A good rule of thumb, if you can’t carry it, don’t bring it!
As a note: on pilgrimage, they say “you pack your fears.” For a voyage of this type, it’s highly recommended to pack light as it actually aids in the transformational process of letting go. It can be helpful to know ahead of time, so you can bring consciousness to the process of packing.
-
International telephone calls from England are easy to make, and can be dialed directly from the hotel rooms. As many hotels have thick European walls, not all rooms are internet accessible, some do and some don’t. It likely will always work in the lobby. But when in Europe, it’s best not to think it will work always.
-
Please note that the standard voltage is 230 V and you will need a power plug travel adapter for sockets type G for England and Wales, European plugs that have two rounded prongs. You will need an adapter in order to plug in your electric/electronic devices. If you bring an appliance that does not have a built-in converter in the electrical cord (as most laptops now do), you will also need an electrical converter. If you are using a digital camera, you should plan to bring extra memory cards. Hairdryers are provided in most of the rooms.
-
You will have no difficulty exchanging U.S. dollars into Pounds. You can do it at the airport and there are ATM’s located close to some hotels we’ll be staying in, although if exchanging at the airport it will cost more. The two best ways to get your money into pounds are to special order them from your bank at least 2 weeks before you leave or to visit an ATM when you arrive. Please confirm with your credit card that you will be out of the country so they don’t do a halt to your card. They will accept debit and credit cards. Traveler’s checks are a hassle because you are required to show your passport in order to cash them, and many shops will not accept them.

Retreat costs are printed well in advance of our actual travel dates. In exceptional circumstances, the cost of your international trip may be subject to increases which I cannot absorb, due to reasons such as currency fluctuations, fuel costs, tariffs, dues, taxes and fees overseas, the costs of services overseas, additions/adjustments to the tour program, or developments beyond our control. I regret this situation and I do everything possible to avoid surcharges, but sometimes it is unavoidable. I reserve the right to adjust prices before the retreat, as these changes are made known to me. An increase in the retreat prices shall not be grounds for refund of all or any part of payments made towards a retreat and completing the retreat registration form constitutes your acceptance of this provision. So far, to date, this increase has never applied.
-
It is often different from what most North Americans are used to. It may be not as easy to access organic, whole foods in England. Some vegetarian are available, but choices may be limited. There is a daily allowance for dining, if you wish to select something other than what is suggested there is an additional cost for dinner.
Note: This tour will be taking place in England and Wales, and as such anything listed in the itinerary may be unexpectedly closed or changed without notice, but all experiences will be replaced with options of equal or greater value. We have our reservations, so this isn’t of great concern, but to let you know that it can happen.

No Refunds are offered. This retreat has a lot of intricate parts to it and I apologize but I cannot offer a refund. I also strongly recommend trip “cancellation for any reason” insurance.
