Tree Top Cabin Studio
Tree Tops Studio Cabin is a upstairs studio facing the main campus of Peace Valley Sanctuary nestled in the Ouachita National Forest. Explore hiking trails with creek crossings, paddle around our pond in the flat bottom boat, and enjoy the swings under massive oaks with a beautiful view of the pond and mountains. Seventy lush acres to enjoy!
Nearby are quartz crystal mines in Mt. Ida, Little Missouri Falls (swimming) & canoeing on the Caddo River. It's a quick trip to Hot Springs for more!
The space

This cabin studio has a dormer style ceiling, an open closet space and plenty of shelves for storing your "stuff." The round table inside can give you a place to access wifi on your laptop or eat breakfast. There are dishes and silverware for 3. There is a coffee maker, a toaster oven, short fridge and a big bottle of spring water If you want to grill there is a propane grill and side burner to use downstairs that is shared with other guests.
Guest access
The front and rear decks are for your private use. Views of the forest are all around. The main lodge and the pond can be seen from the front deck. You are free to explore the grounds of the sanctuary. Nearby there is a 16 ft. dodecahedron sculpture with seating facing a creek that runs year round. A privacy fence surrounds that area, the gate is kept unlocked, for all our guests to enjoy this common area.
Other things to note
We have a small flock of peacocks on our grounds. They can sometimes be noisy, especially if there are sounds they are unfamiliar with. There are a few cars and trucks that pass by the cabin on the unpaved road in front of Treetops during the day. After unloading, please park and lock your car in our paved parking lot in front of the main lodge.
Outside campfires are NOT permitted, sorry!
